Lesson 18: Self-Honoring
Imagine something that you honor, the way you would treat it, the loyalty and protection you would have. It’s the willingness to appreciate, respect, safeguard, and hold in high regard. People or things that you honor have a special place in your life and are met with a sense of priority.
If self-awareness is the starting point, self-honoring is the behavioral or action part of the process. And while self-honesty is about telling yourself the truth, self-honoring is about aligning your behavior with those truths. It is about making decisions and acting in your best interest despite what others think.
